A New Video For God Of War Ragnarok Shows You Why You Should Get It And The PS5

A new God of War Ragnarok trailer has been published, detailing the highly anticipated game's PlayStation 5 capabilities and confirming a package.

Sony has published a new trailer for God of War Ragnarok, confirming various hardware-related features for the PlayStation 5, as well as a console package that will be available later this year. It should be noted that God of War Ragnarok will still be released on both the PS4 and the PS5.

This might be one of the reasons Sony produced this new teaser, as the firm continues to push players toward its newer platform and its different features that the PS4 may lack. The "Next Gen Immersion" video for God of War Ragnarok reveals a few PS5-exclusive features. These capabilities include 4K resolution capability, 3D audio, and haptic feedback.

Sony also shows off the God of War Ragnarok PS5 package at the conclusion of the trailer. Full specifics on the package have yet to be released, however, it looks to feature a normal disc-based PS5, a DualSense controller, and a copy of God of War Ragnarok.

If it's priced like the Horizon Forbidden West and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS5 bundles, it should be roughly $560, which is around a $10 reduction off retail. As wonderful as a God of War Ragnarok PS5 package is, chances are it will be exceedingly tough to find this Christmas season. Those who come upon it or wait overnight at Target to obtain one will have a terrific entrance point into the platform.

Of course, most PS5 owners have already decided whether or not to purchase God of War Ragnarok. A clip highlighting features that are quite prevalent for PS5 titles will not change many minds. After all, this is a sequel to one of PlayStation's most popular exclusives of the previous generation. Nonetheless, the trailer serves as a fantastic reminder that God of War Ragnarok is coming soon.
