Cal Kestis' Next Challenge Is Teased In The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Trailer

Respawn Entertainment's follow-up to Cal Kestis' first sci-fi adventure, Jedi Fallen Order 2, is revealed in a teaser video for Jedi Fallen Order 2, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order used a "Metroidvania" gameplay format to engage players in Cal Kestis' path from Padawan to seasoned Jedi. Kestis and his companions go to planets both exotic and familiar, from the Wookie homeworld of Kashyyyk to the merciless cliffs of Dathomir. Force powers are helpful in both combat and puzzle-solving in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, with each new talent unlocking new portions of the game. The previous game's main emphasis was Kestis, however speculations say that a new playable character in Jedi: Fallen Order 2 may shift the focus away from Cameron Monaghan's role.

An amazing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor teaser, revealed by Respawn, has been unveiled as part of May's Star Wars Celebration event. The upcoming sci-fi adventure from Respawn Entertainment will take gamers on a new journey as Cal Kestis battles to survive in the harsh post-Fallen Order world. While little specifics regarding possible gameplay and overall story aspects for the game are now available, the statement confirms Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released in 2023.

The sequel to the Jedi: Fallen Order game series appears to be darker than its predecessor, and Clone Wars references in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor may help create that more serious tone. The original game offered many flashbacks into Kestis' and his master Cere Junda's backstories, but greater investigation of Trilla Suduri may make for a fascinating sequel. Suduri was Junda's first trainee, but after Order 66 and Junda's departure, Suduri fell victim to the Dark Side of the Force. Despite her Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order conclusion, flashbacks into Trilla Suduri's background might create for a darker second chapter and offer players access to talents that Cal Kestis does not have.

While the game is still under development, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor appears to be a promising sequel to the first Fallen Order experience. The teaser video, which suggests a darker and more emotional trip, is the ideal way to mark Star Wars Celebration 2022. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is shaping up to be a fitting successor for those looking for more tales of Jedi courage.
