Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 May Include Famous Soccer Players As DLC Operators

According to a notable Call of Duty leaker, famous soccer players will be included as DLC operators to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

If the newest rumor is true, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 might have prominent world-class soccer players as playable DLC operators. Activision will stage a soccer-related event in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 starring an elite group of players such as Messi, Neymar, and Pogba, according to prominent Call of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope.

Insider Gaming backs up the leaker's allegation, claiming that numerous DLC operators were discovered in Modern Warfare 2's game files. The current DLC operators in the game are Aksel, Connor, Klaus, Luna, Messi, Neymar, Pogba, Roze, Reyes, and Gromsco. Insider Gaming reports that the soccer event in Modern Warfare 2 will coincide with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which begins on November 20.

Modern Warfare 2 is intended to involve numerous partnerships, similar to Call of Duty: Warzone, and the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is critical to Activision's future ambitions. However, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are yet to be released, and Activision has not revealed any partnerships for the new games.

As the meta establishes itself, Activision and Infinity Ward may work on filling out the core experience of the game's multiplayer component within the first month of its release. Because of the global appeal of FIFA games and the sport, Messi, Neymar, and Pogba are among the most fascinating DLC operators. If the story is accurate, Modern Warfare2 may see a big surge of gamers in the first few months after its release.

A well-received collaborative event might entice Activision to seek other soccer players for Modern Warfare 2 such as Lewandowski, Haaland, and Ronaldo. Furthermore, the event may attract other sports organizations, such as the NFL and MLB, to explore bringing their star players into the current Call of Duty release. Along with the notion of new soccer cooperation, TheGhostOfHope predicts Modern Warfare 2 will receive campaign DLC in late 2023. Activision may contemplate other agreements over the lifespan of Modern Warfare 2, and soccer cooperation is one of the game's first significant events. Nonetheless, Modern Warfare 2 has the potential to be an engaging videogame for both new and returning gamers.
