Far Cry 6 To Get Game Of The Year Edition With New Expansion?

According to rumors, Far Cry 6 will receive a Game of the Year edition, as well as a new expansion that extends on existing Season Pass DLC.

Ubisoft may release a Far Cry 6 Game of the Year version alongside a new expansion that covers the whole bundle, including the Ultimate Pack and Season Pass, as well as the current update. Aggiornamenti Lumia, a well-known Microsoft, and Xbox leaker, recently tweeted that Far Cry 6 will receive the aforementioned Game of the Year edition as well as an expansion titled Lost Between Worlds.

The Lost Between Worlds expansion has yet to be announced by Ubisoft, however, it is likely that it will premiere at the next Ubisoft Forward. On September 27, Aggiornamenti Lumia released a screenshot of a suspected Far Cry 6 Game of the Year edition that may have been obtained accidentally through a submission to the Xbox database.

Although Lumia has named the impending Far Cry 6 DLC Lost Between Worlds, it is presently unknown whether it exists or whether it will take place in Yara or somewhere altogether new. Since its debut, the Far Cry 6 Ultimate Edition has included the main game as well as the Vice Pack, Croc Hunter Pack, and Jungle Expedition Pack, as well as the Season Pass and Blood Dragon.

The Season Pass included DLC stories about classic Far Cry antagonists Pagan Min, Vaas Montenegro, and Joseph Seed, while the main game included its own renowned adversary, Anton Castillo, played by Giancarlo Esposito. Unlike these Far Cry 6 DLC focuses on villains, the future addition may be akin to more legendary classics like Valley of the Yetis in Far Cry 4 or Lost on Mars in Far Cry 5. Although Far Cry 6 was named 2021's Game of the Year by a small number of users, It Takes Two was named the year's apex by The Game Awards, with other notable titles in the same debate like Metroid Dread and Resident Evil Village. Several Ubisoft reviewers have reacted to the speculation of a Far Cry 6 Game of the Year edition to convey their uncertainty with the title, while a few fans have expressed disdain for the current DLC ahead of the reveal of another prospective expansion.
