From Warchiefs To Titans And Now A Children's World Of Warcraft Alphabet Book Is Being Released

Christie Golden, a New York Times bestselling author, has developed a lovely new alphabet book for World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft is creating an alphabet book featuring classic Azeroth characters and locales. The release date for A is for Azeroth: The ABCs of World of Warcraft is currently set for July 25, 2023. Christie Golden, an award-winning novelist, will pen the next World of Warcraft alphabet book. Golden has written scores of stories for Warcraft and StarCraft, including the current Sylvanas novel, and fans will recognize her work across numerous games, programs, and unique worlds.

The second episode in Golden's exploration of the vast mythology of the World of Warcraft realm is A is for Azeroth: The ABCs of World of Warcraft. The 32-page book offers loads of original art of fan-favorite characters from all World of Warcraft expansions in a delightful, one-of-a-kind graphic style.

Gamers Being Kicked Out Of Modern Warfare 2 And Not Being Allowed To Play Early Access Campaign

The officially-licensed alphabet book aims to be an approachable tour of Azeroth for all ages, sharing its mythology in a style that is as educational as it is cute and entertaining. The hardback book is presently available for pre-order on Amazon for $17.

The Dragonflight Codex: A Definitive Guide to the Dragons of Azeroth was also just announced by World of Warcraft. This lore book, which is set to be released on August 15, 2023, is an encyclopedia-style tour of the Dragon Isles included in the planned Dragonflight expansion.

The field guide, which will be narrated by Archmage Khadgar—who was briefly and incorrectly labeled as a bronze dragon in the book's description—will expand on Dragonflight's mythology in the same way that World of Warcraft: Grimoire of the Shadowlands and Beyond did with Shadowlands. Golden's adorable new World of Warcraft book has piqued the imagination of players. Amazon currently does not have a cover or any images published, so gamers can only speculate on what the charming art style will look like once completed. While World of Warcraft has previously produced fairy tale books, young adult novels, and children's short stories, gamers were surprised to find an alphabet book.
