James Gunn Shares Wrap Gifts He Received After Finishing Filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
After production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, director James Gunn shared photos of the presents he received from the MCU film's team.

The production of Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was hampered by Gunn's termination and rehiring by Disney, as well as the pandemic. Last week, Gunn announced that the MCU project had reached a critical milestone when director disclosed that the picture had officially wrapped production. The filmmaker made the news by posting a photograph of the final shot's slate, which was a simple take of Rocket sitting down. Gunn has always kept fans updated on his projects, and that hasn't changed now that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has ended production.
Gunn recently shared 10 photographs on Instagram displaying the treasured presents he received from numerous crew members after production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 wrapped. A book of never-before-seen Suicide Squad stills, a pin of a set Dog named River dressed as Cosmo, a handmade knife, an engraved wooden tray, a whisky glass etched with a cassette tape, two books, a hand-drawn portrait, a personalized T-shirt featuring the cereal brand "Freakies," and a custom T-shirt from the Grip department are among the gifts. Take a look at the images below:
The narrative of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has yet to be released, like with other MCU projects. Recent set photographs and videos, as well as Gunn's own statements, have increased anticipation for the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Gunn famously stated in 2019 that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will contain the death of a prominent Guardians character, which has piqued fans' interest in the sequel. Unfortunately, these wrap presents do not appear to include any new information about the impending film. The presents appear to be personalized emotive objects intended to express the crew's gratitude for Gunn's labor and leadership on the series' last film.
Regardless of the absence of fresh information provided by the presents, they demonstrate that Gunn has loved his time with the cast and crew in his final MCU film. Guardians of the Galaxy has been a significant part of Gunn's career, so it's understandable that he's saddened by the end of production. As the film enters post-production, the filmmaker is expected to keep fans updated, but future updates are unlikely to disclose much more than these photos. Even with the minimal material available, it appears like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be a poignant end to the brave gang of heroes, based on the cast and crew's comments thus far.
