Hasbro will release a new animatronic toy of the L0-LA59 (LOLA) robot from Disney+'s new Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The series, which stars Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, is set on Tatooine ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. In addition to returning one of the franchise's most recognizable characters, the series introduces a new droid, L0-LA59, or LOLA.
Hasbro has just announced that a new LOLA animatronic toy will be available for purchase. The animatronic figure's head is equipped with a sensor that triggers 45 various light, sound, and movement combinations throughout three modes of play. LOLA's animatronic version costs $89.99 and will be available for pre-order on June 1 at 1 PM ET at Hasbro Pulse and most major retailers.
Kids ages four and older, as well as collectors, will be thrilled by the new LOLA animatronic toy's numerous distinct lights, noises, and motions, especially if they are already fans of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Other non-moving variants of the toy will be available for pre-order on the same day and time as the animatronic version. The LOLA animatronic toy will not be available for purchase until autumn 2022, but fans may continue watching Obi-Wan Kenobi while the series continues on Disney+ and pre-order the toy if they want to bring a piece of the universe closer to them.
