Some Players' Overwatch 2 Junkenstein's Revenge Queue Times Are Out Of Control
Some Overwatch 2 players are reportedly waiting a long time to play Junkenstein's Revenge because queue times are extremely long.
While Halloween has passed, Overwatch 2's Halloween Terror event continues until November 8, offering a variety of LTMs for players to try. Despite the addition of the new Wraith of the Bride mode, some players prefer to return to the classic Junkenstein's Revenge. Regrettably, this is easier said than done.
Junkenstien's Revenge has been around for a while as the original Halloween LTM for Overwatch. The model is currently designed to be played cooperatively with a team of four players. Outside of the Halloween event, it takes place in front of the castle of Aldersbrunn, also known as the Eichenwalde map. KrakJesus, a Reddit user, shared a screenshot of their queue time for Junkenstein's Revenge in Overwatch 2.
Surprisingly, the image revealed that the player had been looking for a match for over 36 minutes. It's worth noting that this screenshot of the queue time was taken for the PC pool of players, who were playing Junkenstein's Endless on Expert difficulty.
It's possible that more gamers will test out the console mode and other difficulty settings. However, other members of the Overwatch 2 community's responses appear to indicate that this is a widespread issue. Aside from this Reddit user's long queue time, other gamers have chimed in, claiming to have had similar problems.
Some players even claimed that the only way to find a match for the game mode was to queue in a party with three other friends, removing the need to find a random player. Unfortunately, this is not the only issue that players have encountered while exploring the Halloween Terror event for Overwatch 2. Aside from the long lines to enter the LTMs, this latest event has sparked debate over the new Kiriko Witch skin. This skin was previously only available as part of a bundle, which frustrated many players. While Blizzard has since made the skin available for purchase separately, this has not satisfied many fans.
