The Concept Art For Doctor Strange 2 Shows Charlize Theron's Clea Using Her Powers

Concept artist John Staub for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gives a new look at Charlize Theron's Clea wielding her powers

Fans of the MCU were anticipating a number of cameos heading into Multiverse of Madness, but Charlize Theron's surprising entrance as Clea in the mid-credits sequence has many thrilled for Doctor Strange's future. Clea, a prominent comic book character, is a formidable sorceress from the Dark Dimension, noted for being Umar's daughter and Dormammu's niece, whom Strange beats in the 2016 film using the Time Stone. Clea met Stephen at the end of Multiverse of Madness and told him that he had caused an invasion before asking for his assistance in repairing it.

John Staub, a visual designer and concept artist, has now shown the final authorized design for Theron's Clea on his Instagram. Staub says that he was "thrilled" to work on this style, which depicts the figure using her abilities and radiating purple-colored magic from her hands. Clea is also seen in her purple and black attire from Multiverse of Madness in the concept illustration. Take a look at the photographs below:

Charlize Theron has been in a number of blockbusters, including Atomic Blonde, Mad Max: Fury Road, and the Fast and Furious franchise. It was just a matter of time until she entered the MCU, and her cameo at the close of Multiverse of Madness has fans guessing about her future participation in the franchise. Those who have read the comics are aware of Clea's skills and eventual position of Sorcerer Supreme, but what has many people interested is that she falls in love with Stephen Strange. If the MCU decides to make Clea and Strange lovers, Theron may be able to stay in the series past the third installment.

It would be fascinating to see whether Clea makes any further cameos before the third Doctor Strange feature as Marvel continues to release its forthcoming schedule of movies. There is a lot that the Academy Award-winning actress will contribute to the part as fans' eagerness to see more of her grows. For the time being, fans may watch Clea in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and look forward to seeing her talents in action when she returns to the MCU.
