The New Film From Emily Blunt and Harry Potter Director Is Coming To Netflix
Netflix has made a significant acquisition of Pain Hustlers, directed by David Yates of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and starring Emily Blunt

David Yates' next directorial movie Pain Hustlers, starring Emily Blunt, has been acquired by Netflix. It was confirmed in early May that Blunt will feature in the picture, and that director David Yates, best renowned for his work on the final four Harry Potter films as well as the recent Fantastic Beasts series, would direct it. Pain Hustlers, written by Wells Tower, has been compared to American Hustle and The Wolf of Wall Street. It will follow Liza Drake, a high school dropout who quickly finds herself involved in a criminal conspiracy after landing a job with a pharmaceutical start-up in the hopes of making a better life for herself and her daughter.
According to Deadline, Netflix has agreed to a $50 million deal for Pain Hustlers, which includes global distribution rights. It was presented at the Cannes Film Market by The Veterans and CAA Media Finance, and production is set to begin in August.

Blunt, who will next be seen in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, has previously been in A Quiet Place, Edge of Tomorrow, Sicario, and The Devil Wears Prada. The actress might be one of the most appealing aspects of Pain Hustlers, and with filming set to begin in the coming months, it will be intriguing to see who else joins the ensemble.
