The Olsen Twins As Wanda Variants In Scarlet Witch Fan Art

In this great fan poster by samuel_cheve, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen feature as Scarlet Witch versions with their younger sister Elizabeth Olsen

Wanda Maximoff made her most recent appearance as the Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Wanda was harassed by myriads of her joyful selves with children she no longer had after she lost her boys (Billy and Tommy) and her reanimated spouse in Wandavision. Wanda sought for America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) in order to take her powers and, as a result, murder America in order to traverse the multiverse in a "reasonable" attempt.

While Elizabeth Olsen plays each Wanda variety in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, samuel cheve imagines what it would be like to witness the actor's sisters play incarnations of the Scarlet Witch. The poster has traditional Multiverse of Madness iconography, with the MCU's Scarlet Witch in the center, flanked by two variations, depicted as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and surrounded by Wanda's indescribable brilliant red abilities. With "the power of three," they could undoubtedly cause terrible damage with only one Scarlet Witch. Take a look at the poster below:

In some of its most recent productions, Marvel has explored the concept of alternative selves. The Disney+ Loki series was the first MCU effort to explore the concept of variations, with Tom Hiddleston's Loki tasked with tracking down one of his different selves after he meets Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino). Spider-Man: No Way Home expanded on this theme by including Peter Parkers from different universes, played by former Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

616 Wanda, ashamed by her crimes, crumbled the top of Mount Wundagore with herself still within at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Normally, this would surely result in a person's death, but because of the MCU's magic, the character's destiny is left a little more uncertain. Looking at some of Marvel's most recent efforts, it's safe to assume that the franchise will continue to expand throughout the universe, especially now that America Chavez has more control over her abilities. Because the Olsen Twins have already retired from acting, it's doubtful that they'll return in the franchise, but following Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there's a chance that another, or several, Scarlet Witches will emerge in the future.
