The Sims 4: The Next Expansion Pack Leak Teases More Teen Activities

A #Sims4 leak purports to have disclosed the title of a forthcoming Expansion Pack for the game, The Sims 4: High School, which will focus on teen gaming

Game Packs, Stuff Packs, and Kits are the four distinct types of DLC available for The Sims 4, starting with the largest, Expansion Packs, and gradually decreasing in content amount with Game Packs, Stuff Packs, and Kits. Teen Sims' gameplay in The Sims 4 is currently somewhat limited. While they do have some unique moodlets and interactions in The Sims 4, such as mood swings and earning character values via parenting, they are largely regarded as adults. Although kids will bring home school projects and homework each day, high school is never shown in-game; teens just vanish in the morning when it's time to go to school and reappearance in the afternoon.

SimsCommunity, a Sims 4 news site, has claimed a leak of the latest Sims 4 Expansion Pack title, "High School." The information was leaked as a result of a series of tweets by pettylilbettty. A gamer shared a poll they had gotten from EA asking which Expansion Packs they had played in a Sims 4-centric Facebook group, and one stuck out above the others. The choice at the very top of the list of published Expansion Packs stated "High School," which isn't an existent DLC.

This is the second Sims 4 leak in the last seven days, after the release of a picture of the current Werewolves Game Pack cover earlier this week. While the first leak was heavily hinted to by the Sims team, this one is a little more difficult to trust. The game's development team has made no mention of a new Expansion Pack, but with just one month until the one-year milestone between Expansion Packs, it's safe to assume one will be revealed shortly. This fresh leak also comes from a less trustworthy source - just because it's from a Sims news company doesn't mean it's immune to phony photos.

While the truth of this leak remains to be established, it serves as a reminder to Sims 4 enthusiasts that a new Expansion Pack should be announced shortly. The most recent Sims 4 timeline only covered May and June 2022, so it's doubtful that developers would let July go by without a new Expansion Pack release - or at the very least, an announcement of one. If the leak is real, it will no doubt satisfy many Sims 4 fans, as additional gameplay for younger life stages has been a long-awaited addition to the game.
