Whispers About Black Panther 3 Is Already Spreading But Apparently It All Depends On One Thing

Nate Moore, executive producer of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, confirms that the creative team has discussed making a threequel.

We are less than two weeks away from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hitting the cinemas worldwide and officially closing the book official on the MCU's Phase 4. A movie that has gone through its trials and tribulations, and a lot of folks taught that we might never even get to see this movie in the first place.

With the tragic passing of lead actor and great human being Chadwick Boseman, a global pandemic hitting the earth on an unprecedented scale starts and stops because of the said pandemic, and controversy surrounding star Letitia Wright. But through all that, the movie is here, and this for sure will be an incredible movie that will leave all of us in tears by the end. But through all this, it is the human thing to always ask, what's next?

Universal's President Wants A Female Fast And Furious Film

With the release date so near, the marketing train for Black Panther is firing on all cylinders. Commercials are flying, billboards are sprung, and interviews are happening on every platform possible. That is where Nate Moore, Executive Producer of Black Panther got hit with the all-intrusive question.

Moore was asked in an interview with Collider whether he thought a direct sequel was the most likely future for the franchise or if fans would be more likely to see their favorite characters from the film in other MCU releases. "That's a great question," Moore responded. "To be honest, this is not me trying to not answer the question. We really want to see how audiences receive the film, and I think Ryan Coogler is really interested to see how the film plays before we decide. There are certain ideas we've floated around of what a third film could be if we get to make it. But until the movie comes out, we're a bit superstitious in that way. We don't want to count our chickens, because you never know what's going to happen."

You can not argue with that answer because it is the truth, as much as I am sure Kevin Feige would love to go for the third, there are a lot of intricacies that will be given to us in this movie that need to be seen and how they will be met. With the new Black Panther, the first official big screen appearance of Namor the Sub-Mariner, and as cited by costume designer Ruth Carter, there will be New technology, more modern afro-future images, lots of black diasporas, and the African diaspora. With Wakanda expanding, the hero roster growing, and Marvel Cinematic Universe never stopping, all you can do is wait and see.
