WWE legends The Undertaker, Steve Austin, and Triple H are featured in Young Rock season 2 photos. The NBC sitcom, which follows Dwayne Johnson through various stages of his life, said that season 2 will include actors impersonating iconic WWE wrestlers while also shedding light on Johnson's early wrestling career. Johnson's tryout bout with WWE, which took place in 1996 at a live show in Corpus Christi, Texas, will be the subject of Young Rock season 2 episode 8, "Corpus Christi," which premieres on May 3. Naturally, given the episode's subject, some WWE superstars will make cameos.
On Instagram, Johnson, who co-created the sitcom and stars in it as himself, provides a sneak peek at the Young Rock season 2 episode. He writes in his description that "Corpus Christi" would be a pleasure for professional wrestling enthusiasts. He also mentions meeting The Ringmaster, who would go on to be known as Stone Cold Steve Austin after dropping the Ringmaster title. Below is a link to Johnson's piece, which contains images of The Undertaker, Mankind, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley:
Throughout its course, Young Rock has frequently featured wrestlers and celebrities. Independent wrestler Luke Hawx portrays Steve Austin in Season 2 Episode 8, while Brock Dunstan portrays Mankind. Undertaker is played by Josh Rawiri, who wears the iconic purple attire, while Hunter Hearst Helmsley, better known as Triple H, is played by Miles Burris. Michael PS Hayes and Mantaur are played by Brad Burroughs and Gawain Johnstone, respectively. Depending on how Young Rock plays out, these actors may wind up playing pivotal roles in the tale.
